I caught this beautiful summer rockfish trolling in the Chesapeake Bay on the first day of the regular season 2006. She was 36" and just over 17 lbs. She hit an umbrella rig trailing a 12" chartruese sassy shad in 48' on the eastern edge of the channel across from the gas docks. This was my first trip trolling in the bay. What a great time.

Guess this was the first "Fishing Friday" post where you talk all that fishing gobbledy-gook smack!
Anyway, I’m only jealous. That is a beautiful fish!
